Global TSG are able to provide both the V2 and V4 systems. The V2 has proven itself as an accurate yet rugged piece of equipment, which offers stable calibrations and seamless changes in wall thickness. The V4 enhancements include software upgrades enabling the system to work from the Olympus Tomoview® platform, and results in a system of greater bandwidth for a smaller physical size.
Girth weld inspection cycles vary from typically 3 minutes for 12″Ø to 5.5 minutes for 42″Ø.
