Global TSG has utilized the CR50 system offshore for a number of projects within Australia and Overseas, where high quality radiography was chosen over AUT as the inspection method. Using plates, which are exposed using an internal crawler as a source, it offers:-

- Meets or exceeds radiographic requirements of all major inspection specifications
- No environmental concerns – chemical spillage etc
- Replaces film & wet processing requirements of conventional radiographic techniques
- Procedures have exposure latitude measured in grey scale – minimizing reshoots
- Reduced exposure requirement compared with conventional film requirement
- Project welds can be easily archived – DVDs are burnt with viewer software attached.
